The idea behind The Intruders was born when the original members from The Hi-Winders joined the present Hi-Winders for a 20 year jubilee show in the summer of 2012. The present members Per Thorsell and Mike Barbwire played with the thought to combine the old and the new Hi-Winders’ approach to rock’n’roll and to name it The Intruders. This combination was an instant success! The sound is raw, unpolished and with the passion to be found on old vinyl 45s from the late 50s with young bands that burned for the "new" music.
