CD - Tupelo Highshots - Pure Rockabilly Party

The Tupelo Highshots were formed in 2011 and after some line-up changes they are now a solid, tight band that are getting more and more gigs, both in Sweden and other countries. 

The band members have all a long background in other well known rockabilly bands, such as, Eddie & The Flatheads, Sonny Rogers and the Kingpins, The Swingin' Doors, Dottie & The Wolfpack, Wreckless and so on.

Tupelo Highshots big influences are the many country artists from the 50's that did their crossover type of songs between rockabilly and country, such as Bob Luman, Faron Young, George Jones and most of all Johnny Cash plus all those real hard rockin' rockabilly heroes from the decade.

Tupelo Highshots is not a 100% retro band, they have a more modern sound to it, but their way to perform the songs are in a true 50's spirit. This way of crossover have became their trademark and seems very successful. This full length CD with 14 sparkling songs, with a couple of originals was released by the Swedish major Atenzia label in 2012.
