In September 2002, After A Discussion Between Clive And Guy, (Both Having Met When Clive Worked With The River Boys During 2002), It Was Decided To Start Up A British Line Up Of The Surfin' Gorillas (The Original Version Having Disbanded When Clive Left Sweden To Live Back In England). Guy Knew Of Simon, Who Was Invited To Join The Band On Second Guitar, And Adverts Were Placed In The Local Press For A Suitable Bass Player. Martin's Arrival Into The Fold Then Completed The Band's Line Up.

In June 2003, A New Album Was Recorded - 'The Return Of The Surfin'
Gorillas' - For Foottapping Records, Which Featured A Number Of Vocal And Instrumental Tracks, Including 'Shot Down' 'Miserlou' And 'Jack The Ripper'.
