Brownie's Younger Brother Stick Should Really Be The Most Well Known - His Song 'Drinkin' Wine Spo-Dee-O-Dee' Is A Widely Recorded American Classic, Covered By Rockabilly, Blues, R&B And Country Stars, Ranging From Champion Jack Dupree To Lightnin' Hopkins, Johnny Burnette To Charlie Daniels, The Electric Flag To Pere Ubu. Yet, As So Often Happens With This End Of The Music Business, Stick Died In 1961 Too Soon To Capitalise On His Greatest Song And The Blues Revival That Was Just Beginning.
