LP - Rampires - Bat Boys Never Die

Well, well, well...not bad....not bad....NO: damn good!

The Rampires have been around since 2005, released 3 albums (Crazy Love Records, Psycho T Records) and recently a Split-Single with the Graveyard Johnnys. But somehow they didn't get the attention they deserved. When we from Longneck Records heard about the new album we were also sceptical since the older stuff was good but we hardly knew about the Rampires.

But then, we got the brand new album in our hands and our first thought was "Hell, they seem to have turned around 180 degrees and are just heading now in the really right direction". Of course as the label you praise the records you want to sell, but this one is spinning almost every day since we got it!!!

Bat Boys Never Dies lacks on nothing, it mixes finest Horrorpunk with Psychobilly and almost every song is a good singalong that catches you. The lead guitar plays awesome guitar licks and cool melodies, the vocals have advanced to a new level and it now fits perfectly to the music - a little bit smoky a little bit dirty, but always straight and warm, double bass sound is well-balanced, drums and other guitar play a perfect rhythm base.

As far as we from Longneck Records can tell - THIS is the horrorpunk/psychobilly/punkabilly record of the year. We love it and we hope you will enjoy it as well.
