...... On The Occasion Of The 10th Anniversary Of The Rock-A-Billy Record Company, Willie Lewis Issued His Very First 10 Inch Lp. „The Rockin’ Blues” By King Cat & The Pharaos. This Album Created History In Short Time. A Total Of 550 Copies In Golden Vinyl And 100 Copies In Black Vinyl Were Pressed. It Didn’t Take Very Long For This Album To Disappear. This Album Has Been Out Of Print For Along Time, And Has Become A Real Collector’s Item. Willie Lewis First Met Members Of Kidd Pharaoh In 1990. As Kidd Pharaoh They Played A More Neo Style Of Rock-A-Billy. But With Willie’s Help They Were Able To Create A Rough, Simple But Yet Very Impressive Rural, Home Grown Unique Rockabilly Style And Sound. In A Period Of Just Eight Weeks They Were Able To Record The Seven Tracks For Their First Album, Plus The Ten Previously Unissued Tracks Found On This Bopland Lp. Although Some Of The Tracks Have Already Been Played With Several Of Willie’s Other Bands This Recordings Are Totally Unique.
