JAKE CALYPSO – 100 MILES JAKE CALYPSO was born in 1964 in Nord of France and he is for more than 30 years, an artist of the ROCKABILLY scene. Probably the 1st one today in France. He has given many concerts in Europe, Las Vegas & Memphis too. He openned for CHUCK BERRY in 2008 in France on a big stage. The following year, the name of  JAKE CALYPSO was born with his 1st single which met a good audience with international DJs. The first album 'GRANDADDY GREASE' (2010) will sell 1800 copies. From this moment, JAKE signed with the label ROCK PARADISE for the following album: 'FATHER & SONS'. In 2015, the third 'DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS'  came  & was recorded at MEMPHIS in SUN STUDIO in the presence of the 1st drummer of JERRY LEE LEWIS who played on one song. 2016 is the meeting with ARCHIE LEE HOOKER (nephew of JOHN LEE HOOKER) for a 100% 'Delta Blues' album. Fall 2016, JAKE CALYPSO returned to the USA in the footsteps of ELVIS and stopped on mythical places to record his voice on 12 ELVIS ballads. He did the most original and personal album around his idol, 40 years after his death . 100 MILES is certainly the craziest and most original adventure that an artist has had to realize his record. And it’s like a dream of kid came true. A sort of apogee for a singer who has dedicated his life to the ROCK'N'ROLL in public and to ELVIS in private. JAKE CALYPSO recorded the voices of 12 ELVIS Ballads in places totally magical. To mention a few: in MEMPHIS in the school where the KING was in 1953 or near his grave behind GRACELAND. In TUPELO, in the house where he was born & lived 13 years. In NASHVILLE,  in the front to RCA STUDIO B or in the GRAND OLE OPRY . In BAD NAUHEIM in Germany, in the front of the private home rented by ELVIS between 1958 and 1960. At each moment, the ghost of KING was never far, creating the emotion and the magic moment so much sought by JAKE during this pilgrimage. Then the music was posed with grace in a studio of the North of France with 16 different talented musicians. '100 MILES' was born!
