The first 'Firebirds' festival was first held in 2012, and is located in the North East area of Germany, the nearest cities being Leipzig and Dresden. The venue is held in the romantic Castle Trebsen, locally known as Schloss Trebsen.

The event is organised by the Firebirds Rock'n'Roll Club, this festival of Rock'n'Roll and Rockabilly music books both well-known, and new and up-coming bands. The festival has established itself through booking an interesting selection of 'hot' established bands such as: Ruby Ann, Joakim Tinderholt, Trixie Trainwreck, Billie And The Kids or Black Patti.

Each band is different and with the variety of musical styles and new and up-coming bands also booked, the festivals musical line-up is first class!

The Firebirds festival builds its structure around Rock’n’Roll music and dancing, and incorporates all the elements of the rockin' scene! There is a vintage car show and meeting; music stalls, hair-dressing salons burlesque shows, good cuisine and more!

This CD compilation is based upon the artists who appear at the festival. You will hear songs from not only scene-favorites but also new bands who are challenging for a place at the top!
