Classy Album That Was The Flagship Cd For The 'New Generation' Campaign For Promoting Rockabilly In Japan In The Mid Nineties. This Was Originally Issued By Sony, But This Release Has Extra Material.

According To The Magazine 'Doll' The Producer Of The Quakes' 'New Generation' Is Tim Of The Polecats, And The Producers Of The Polecats' 'Make A Circuit With Me' Are Chris Hughes & Ross Cullum. They Also Produced Adam And The Ants' 'Goody Two Shoes'. Tim Gave The Members Of The Quakes A Tape Of The Rhythm Track Of 'Goody Two Shoes' And Told Them That It Might Interesting To Use This Rhythm. Paul Of The Quakes Said, "If Adam Ant Plays Rockabilly...It Goes Like This". The Quakes' 'New Generation' Sounds A Little Bit Different From Rockabilly Because Of The Rhythm. It Is Not Simple 2/2 Metre Tempo Which Is Often Used In Rockabilly Songs. The Use Of Nonesense Words Such As 'Yeah-Yo' After Singing The Phrase 'New Generation' Is Also Like Adam's Songs Such As 'Oi-Yo' In 'Beat My Guest'. This Song Is Heard In 'Antics In The Forbidden Zone' And 'B-Side Babies'. 'Beat My Guest' Was The Flip Side Of 'Stand And Deliver'. The Quakes Might Have Been Inspired By This Song.
Mainly From Japanese Text
