Bobby says this is his own favourite album and we won't argue with that. More rockabilly styled than anything he's done before, these recent recordings of Buddy Holly songs confirm his respect and admiration for Holly & The Crickets. With backing by Bobby's own band The Vees (featuring his sons) he rearranges and breathes new life into the songs. This album was originally released in the US on Bobby Vee's own label; we have added extra tracks and a 54 page booklet detailing his life in music, with notes by John McPhee. Many unpublished photos are also included.
